DAVID JOHN CAVALLO
David is a New York based cinematographer, photographer and director. His credits include narrative films, music videos and commercials, as well as acclaimed feature documentaries, including Sony Pictures Classics' Jodorowsky's Dune, which premiered at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, and Magnolia Pictures' Nothing Can Hurt Me: The Big Star Story.

He works in television as a Director of Photography and camera operator for The Discovery Channel, Oxygen, Adult Swim, MTV, VH1, Spike TV, The Sundance Channel and many others.

His photography portfolio features essays on Japanese life, Costa Rica and the South. He also photographs food (and chefs!) regularly for the internationally renowned Gotham Bar & Grill.

David is also a founding partner of the NYC based production company Endless Picnic. When he can tear himself away from the camera, he plays guitar for the critically acclaimed rocker Hans Chew.
